It is easier to find the teacher than the one child left behind.

Providing a scholarship is a means to provide financial assistance, but in addition to this, Zenzele will be creating an opportunity for the most vulnerable youth overcome the many obstacles they face on the road to higher education and fulfilling careers by including them in our supportive mentoring initiative.

Zenzele will provide students with the guidance and support they need to succeed in school, we will help them reach their full potential — and that helps us help these students with the transformation of making them aware of achieving their sea of opportunities.

We are concentrating our efforts on securing commitments and support for the financing of school fees, uniforms, books, meals and transportation costs for girls living in poverty in post-conflict areas in Africa. Educational supports are needed to assist girls and young women prepare for a successful transition to independence – which is so needed in Africa.

We have calculated the price of support for each child at $35.00 monthly or $420.00 CAD annually.

The “Adopt-a-Student” program will be facilitated in the following countries:

  • South Africa
  • Zimbabwe
  • Botswana
  • Sierra Leone
  • Liberia
  • Democratic Republic of the Congo
